パーツ丸洗い＆ほったらかし調理テスト
外箱から取り出した本体は、幅288mm×奥行222mm×高さ244mmと電気圧力鍋としてはかなり引き締まったサイズ感です。表面はマットな梨地加工が施されており、家電特有のプラスチック感が抑えられています。持ち手部分にあしらわれた真鍮色のアクセントパーツもチープさがなく、そのままダイニングテーブルに配膳しても違和感がありません。
内なべの実測重量は約480gと非常に軽量です。一般的な鋳物ホーロー鍋や厚底の多機能調理家電の内なべと比べると手首への負担がほとんどなく、片手で軽快に取り回せます。内側にはフッ素樹脂塗膜加工が施されており、豚の角煮を作った後の固まった脂汚れやタレのこびりつきも、中性洗剤を含ませたスポンジで軽く撫でるだけで綺麗に洗い流せました。
フタ側の構造は、内フタ、パッキン、圧力表示ピンカバー、排気弁カバーと細かく分解可能です。分解や組み立ての工程自体は工具不要で直感的に行えますが、パーツ点数が多いため、日常的なメンテナンスでは小さなゴム部品の紛失に注意を払う必要があります。特に排気弁カバーは外径約20mmと小ぶりなため、シンクの排水口に流さないよう水切りカゴの定位置を決めておく運用が現実的です。
加圧調理機能の実力として、まずは白米2合の炊飯を行いました。浸水時間を設けず、米を研いですぐにセットして「炊飯モード」を起動。加圧から減圧まで約25分で完了します。炊き上がりは米粒の輪郭がしっかり残る硬めの食感で、べたつきのない均一な火通りを確認できました。続いて牛すじ肉と大根の煮込みを40分加圧でテストしたところ、繊維の硬いスジ肉がスプーンで崩れる硬さまで軟化し、大根の中心まで出汁が浸透していました。動作中の排気音は非常に静かで、加圧維持時に「シュー」という微細な蒸気音が断続的に鳴る程度に抑えられています。
購入前に確認しておきたい留意点
実際に使い込んでいく中で把握しておくべき仕様上の制約がいくつかあります。まず容量面です。本機の満水容量は2.0Lですが、圧力調理時の最大調理容量は1.2L（豆類の場合は0.6L）までに制限されます。これはカレーであれば約2〜3皿分、角煮であれば豚バラブロック400g程度が適量です。育ち盛りの子どもがいる4人家族のメインディッシュを一度に作る用途には明確に容量不足となります。
次に、パッキンへの匂い移りです。シリコン製パッキンは密閉性に優れる反面、スパイスカレーやキムチ煮込みなどの香りが強いメニューを調理すると、一度の洗浄では匂いが抜けにくい傾向があります。重曹を溶かしたぬるま湯に30分浸け置きすることで匂いは大幅に軽減されますが、白米の炊飯と香辛料調理を頻繁に交互に行う場合は、予備パッキンを別途用意して使い分けるのが合理的です。
また、フタの開閉レバーは確実に「閉」の位置まで回し切らないとエラー表示が出て加熱が始まらない安全設計になっています。最初はスライドの噛み合わせに少し固さを感じる場合がありますが、上から軽くフタを均等に押し込みながら回すことでスムーズにロックできます。
