実機分解＆高負荷給電テスト
Mcdodoから、実売約2,880円で薄型デザインを採用したモバイルバッテリーが登場した。主な特徴は、ポケットやバッグの隙間に収まるスリムな筐体設計と、日常的なスマートフォン充電に最適化された入出力仕様だ。
パッケージを開封してまず手にとると、樹脂製シェルながらもサラリとした微細なシボ加工が施されており、チープなプラスチック感は抑えられている。厚みは約15mm前後に抑えられており、6.1インチ前後のスマートフォンと重ねて持った際にも手のひらに過度な厚みを感じさせない。外形寸法とラウンドエッジの処理が効いており、エッジが指に食い込む感覚もない。
内部基板とセルの実装状態を確認すべく分解を進めると、リチウムポリマーセルが隙間なく配置され、衝撃吸収用の耐熱フォームテープで固定されている。充放電制御IC周辺のハンダ付けも整っており、低価格帯の中華系アクセサリで見られるフラックス残りは最小限に抑えられていた。熱源となるコントローラー周辺には薄手のサーマルパッドが当てられており、放熱対策への配慮が見受けられる。
